Welcome to Paulus' Aussie Disco Portal Server and Forums. We are an Australian based Freelancer Discovery 4.86 mod server and forums community, though our community is made up of many peoples from many lands, all are welcome! 
Below you will find our server information such as rules and server configuration. The Discovery mod is geared mostly towards RP play, however here we have remained true to the Freelancer way of playing so RP is not required but you are still free to use it if you wish.

Rules
1. NO Swearing, Foul Language, Abusive, Racial or Sexual chat in ANY Channel!
2. Treat everyone with respect and play fair!
3. NO Hacking, Modding or Glitching the game! Cheating is BAD! Also do not use EXPLOITS within the game!
4. This is a family friendly Server, people of all ages play. Be mature and understanding so everyone can have a great time!
5. Piracy; Battleships and Battlecruisers are not allowed to pirate or destroy transports & freighters unless they are engaged first by the transport or freighter.
6. No Player may attack an unknown NEW PLAYER at rank 21 or lower.

Paulus's Aussie Disco Portal Server Customisations
Cloaks
- All Cloaks use 1 unit of fuel per second
- Cloak activation times have been reduced to make them more usable
Jump Drives
- Drives have been improved and balanced
- Drives and Survey Modules are only available from player bases and must be built
- Mk2 Drive - Requires a 3,600,000 power core , 30 second charge time, 30 units of fuel for a jump, single ship jump No Transport will have the power to use this.
- Mk3 Drive - Requires a 7,000,000 power core or greater (BC or BS), if a BS Scanner is mounted no fuel is required, 30 second charge time, single ship jump
- Mk4 Drive - Requires a 7,000,000 power core or greater (BS), charge time of 60 seconds, 60 units of fuel needed, jumps ships within 300 meters of the ship with the drive
Restarts
- None. Players can exchange house military guard rep for exotic faction reputation.
RP
- Role Play is not enforced, it is up to you whether you want to Role Play or not
- There are no ID restrictions; you can use any ID you want at any time
- ID Rep fixing is Disabled (on RP Servers, ID's enforce their factions reputation)
- You can use any combinations of weapons and equipment that your ship can mount
- Power drain in Cruise is Disabled
- Technology Compatibility is Disabled

- Ship: Hercules - old Heavy Lifter - Now called "Civilian Base Construction Platform" needs to be loaded with the following:

- 140 Industrial Hardware
- 140 High Performance Alloys
- 100 Reinforced Alloys
- 50 Optronic Arrays
- 50 Heatsinks

- 200 Spacecrew minumum needed per base level. (Level 1 base needs 200, Level 2 base needs 400, Level 3 base needs 600, Level 4 base needs 800).

- Food - Food Rations, Luxury Food, Rice, Gaian Wildlife & Synth Paste
